Wheaton College items
Users are responsible for paying all fees associated with unreturned, lost, and missing library materials, and damage incurred to items while borrowed through Wheaton College Library or Interlibrary Loan. Users and libraries may have borrowing privileges blocked under certain conditions.
All library materials remain library property and should be returned whenever possible.
An item will be marked lost once it is 35 days overdue and the user will be billed the current item replacement fee ($85). If an item is returned in damaged condition or with missing components the library will notify the user. The library may bill users an item replacement fee for items that are damaged under their care, or, for items with all components not returned within 35 days of the item’s due date.
Payment Options for Wheaton College Fees
The library does not accept replacement copies instead of payment nor will the library issue a refund if lost material is returned after payment has been received.
Wheaton College student fees are handled by Student Financial Services.
The library accepts payments by credit card, check, and cash.

I-Share items
- If you receive a fee notice for an I-Share item you have, please return the item.
- I-Share libraries will typically waive the replacement fee after the item is returned.
- Borrowers are responsible to pay fees directly to the owning library.

Interlibrary Loan items
If you receive a bill for an interlibrary loan item you have, please return the item.
