Project Timeline & Updates
Spring 2026
- The Board of Trustees gave final authorization for the design, budget, and financing of the Library & Learning Commons construction projects to begin in March 2027
- Project planning is underway. Initial collection and staff relocations are scheduled to begin in Spring 2027.
Spring 2027
- Preparation for renovation begins, including the relocation of staff work areas and portions of the collection.
- Library services, circulation, research assistance, and access to library collections will continue throughout the semester.
Summer 2027 - Summer 2028
- Library operates from temporary locations during renovation.
Fall 2028
- Staff, teams, and collections move back into the renovated library.
