Library Assessment Mission
To analyze library data and conduct user studies to better understand and improve library resources and services.
Scope
•Design, implement, and update the library’s master plan for assessment.
•Use available system-reporting features to develop a regularly updated repository of statistical data output and comparisons that all groups can use to evaluate the library’s systems and services.
•Regularly review the report output to identify important trends, issues, and improvements.
•Perform user assessments, in collaboration with others.
•Study how library spaces, equipment, and collections are used; propose improvements.
•Manage the library’s assessment plans and procedures.
