Faculty will have access to Buswell Library (Main) collections by appointment only. If possible and in keeping with social distancing, we recommend that all Wheaton College users access library services for scanning or print book checkout through the library.wheaton.edu/delivery order process. An email will be sent to you with scans attached, notice of mailing to your address, or directions for pickup at Buswell, as specified in your order. If you need to browse the collection to select materials in support of your remote teaching, please schedule a collection visit by calling (630) 752-5354.
Articles and Books Unavailable Online
All interlibrary loan (ILLiad and I-Share) services have been suspended in compliance with governmental mandates. Wheaton College users may request scanned journal articles, provided they are held locally by Buswell Library, by visiting library.wheaton.edu/delivery. An email will be sent to you with scans attached.

Locally Held Print Resources
Wheaton College users may request locally held books and resources for pickup at Buswell Library (Main) by visiting library.wheaton.edu/delivery. An email will be sent to you with a notice of mailing to your address or directions for pickup at Buswell, as specified in your order.
Buswell Library's priority is maintaining user access to the library's vast collections of electronic journals and ebooks. Additionally, many new databases and ebooks are available to our campus for the remainder of the semester.
If you encounter a resource to which you are denied access, try adding the proxy URL prefix to the beginning of the article URL. The proxy URL will always be the same: https://ezproxy.wheaton.edu/login?url=
Overdue fines for books and other library materials have been suspended. To renew I-Share and ILLiad books please visit library.wheaton.edu/renewals. All locally owned books and materials will be due August 31, even if an earlier due date appears in your account. All books and other materials should be returned to Buswell Library, I-Share and ILLiad materials should be returned to Buswell Library.
Returning Library Materials
Wheaton College users who are not able to leave materials in the book drop may obtain a pre-paid postage label by visiting library.wheaton.edu/returnmybooks. A label will be emailed to you within two business days to affix to a package and return through the United States Post Office system.
Buswell Library will be offering live, chat reference between 9am-9pm (CDT) every Monday through Thursday, 9am-5pm on Friday (CDT). Subject Librarians are available for remote consultations or via email@example.com. For full details about research help please visit /covid19distancelearning.
