Sections of the Tutorial
This tutorial includes an introductory section, five main sections, and a quiz:
- Introduction provides an overview of the tutorial itself.
- Libraries describes the collections and services available at Wheaton College.
- Searching introduces you to important information concepts and useful search techniques.
- Books explains how books are organized in the library and how to search for them in the library's catalog.
- Articles explains different types of articles and how to search for them in library databases.
- Using Information will show you how to evaluate information and how to avoid plagiarism.
- Quiz will evaluate your learning.
While these sections are arranged in a logical progression, each section can stand on its own, so it is not necessary to follow them in sequence or even do all of them at one time.
