More about the Library Catalog:

The Library catalog provides descriptions and call numbers (location on shelf) of all items owned by Buswell. Some collections of the Graham Center Archives are included. Collections at the Marion E. Wade Center are not included.
The catalog provides this information for all books, journals (but not journal articles), videotapes and DVDs, music recordings and scores, educational curricula, maps, government documents, and other items the Library owns. To find works that are published as part of larger works, such as book reviews, journal articles, essays, or chapters in books, use a research database instead.
Remember this rule of thumb: the types of items you can find in the catalog are those you can picture standing alone on a shelf (or sitting in a file drawer) in the Library.

  • Find more information about how to search the catalog specifically for books, music recordings, HNGR papers, and so on in "How do I...?"
  • View tutorials for renewing items using MyAccount, catalog search strategies, and requesting resources online.
