About this Tutorial
This tutorial was created by the librarians at Wheaton College(IL) to help introduce students to the basic research and library skills that they will need for college-level research. While it is primarily geared toward undergraduate students, it can serve as a useful review for anyone wanting to review research- and library-related concepts. This tutorial is designed to stand alone as an introduction to research or to supplement in-class library instruction, and can be used or assigned in its entirety or by individual section.
The content of this tutorial was created or adapted by Nancy Falciani, Reference & Instruction Librarian. But the tutorial would not have been possible without the support and technological assistance of Terry Huttenlock, Head of Systems.
Special thanks go to the developers of the TILT tutorial, Research 101, and Introduction to Research at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
