To Request Books:

Note: These instructions are for requesting books, audio-visual, microfiche and microfilm materials.  These items are usually available free of charge.

Please check that the item is not available in the Wheaton College Library before making a request:

To request an item:

• If an item is not available at the Wheaton College library or it is checked out, try to request the item from an I-Share Library (takes 3-7 days).  View instructions.
• If the item is not available from an I-Share library use WorldCat to request the item (takes 5-10 days).
• If the item is not available in WorldCat, use the Book Request Form.

To Request Articles:

• If you already have an article citation use Citation Linker. 
  If it is not available in full text online or in Wheaton's print holdings, click the Interlibrary Loan link from the Citation Linker results screen. Enter your contact information and click "Send Request".
• Search for the journal article in a Research Database.
  When you find an article in a research database click on  Get it!. If the article is not available in full text online or in Wheaton's print holdings click the Interlibrary Loan link. Enter your contact information and click "Send Request".
• If  Get it! is not available in the database, use the Article Request Form.
